Poster development

I really want the posters to have a high impact for the festival, i want people to be looking at these and be intrigued and interested and then realise its Morris Dancing. I want to change peoples perceptions on the tradition.

These posters will have a full bleed image that draw in the audience and hopefully the contemporary looking text will give them the information the need. There has to be an air of secrecy and so there will only be limited information on the posters so that they will follow it up and research what the even is and find out more info.

I ave used a bold typeface that will have impact even on top of a busy image. Even though there is a separate logo i think this should be a block of text that has a fixed format that can also be applied to different media.

Adding colour helps to bring out the text on top of the image, but this will depend on what image is being used.

I have added the world Whittlesea to the poster as this works better than having a separate location. I have also slanted the text as once more it makes the text have a higher impact, it feels that this is the focal point and the image behind.
